GB> The FTP command is: open host [port]
GB> In in your case, open ftp.somsite.com 8080 anonymous [EMAIL PROTECTED]

ES>I see, Lena suggested to include colon like this
ES>open ftp.somsite.com:8080 anonymous [EMAIL PROTECTED]
ES>Are you sure there is no colon?

GB>No colons in ftpmail. Maybe in www4mail although I haven't tried.

OK, but then, how does ftpmail robot know if a word after ftp.somesite.com
is a userID or a port !?
I have just sent a request to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> according to
this pattern:

open 62.118.252.68 8080 userA 45Re7N4xd9em21
etc., etc.

And what I got back is a witness that ftpmail robot has treated 8080 as
username!

ftpmail has received the following job from you:
      reply-to <cut off be me>
      open 62.118.252.68 8080 userA
      mime
      size 102400
      cd 2_208/01
      get <cut off be me>
