FW: gophermail & ftpmail

Below is the answer from [EMAIL PROTECTED] support team
They host and support both ftpmail and Gophermail.
And the answer is disappointing.

The fact is I have a file to download from ftp site, that ftp link contains
username:password AND nonstandard ftp port.
And the last, the file I need is too big to be downloaded through www4mail.
On the one hand, Gophermail has no file size limit, allows specifying
nonstandard ports but  not username and password.
On the other hand, FtpMail is able to process files much bigger than
www4mail limit, allows specifying username and password but not port (only
default port 21 is used)

Seems there is no email-only decision of this problem...
Anybody has another opinion?

No. Gopher usually does not use an username and password,
although ftp protocol use them.

Sorry, there is no way to use the port without 21.
