Hi, Accmailers!

It was enough to post a couple of times to this list
from my spam free mailbox in order to attract attention of
nigerian wifes if ex-presidents willing to make friends with me
and asking me to help in some shady financial transactions. :-))

If you are not a Internet beginner , you know that
such letters deserve only a hit o delete key. May be a complain to sender's
ISP abuse desk. But it is so time consuming... I get 50 spams a day and I
can't afford to file reports for each spam message.

So I encourage everybody not to use their _basic_ email address for posting
to the mailing lists. Reveal only throwaway accounts to Internet.
There are lots of places on the Internet nowadays where you can get a
throwaway forwarding account. Once it is spammed just leave it and create a
new one.

Just one problem: to get a new account or to cancel forwarding from an
existing one you need to go online in most cases.

I would like to recommend you www.spamgourmet.com - a service that takes
just once to register online and requires no further account maintenance.
Go there, and register under a user name, f.e. it will be GEEK.
Real email address must be given to register. Don't be afraid. :-))
This is required for the system to work. You can trust them.
And all in all, Spamgourmet.com will the last website you share your
real email address with!

After some time, imagine you need to post to a mallist called SHITCHAT
You subscribe to the list on behalf of
[EMAIL PROTECTED]

where "GEEK" is your username that never changes, "SHITCHAT" is arbitrary
word (just for you to distinguish among lots of throwaway addresses you
will create) and 10 is a key part! 10 means you agree to receive only 10
messages addressed to this address [EMAIL PROTECTED] 1 will
be used when you get back a registration code upon subscribing. And 9 are
left for communication.

11th, 12th and further messages sent to this addres will just not reach
you. SpamGourmet will eat them.

Now imagine you feel like rigistering on a website called "winnies-dummies"
But you do not trust this website. Or you don't have time to read ther
lengthy "privacy policy".
So, you make up an address like [EMAIL PROTECTED]
I stregthen again that you do not need to go to spangourmet site in order
to create one more disposable address. The address is created
"automagically" the first time it is used!

Five messages sent to [EMAIL PROTECTED] will be forwarded by
SpamGourmet scripts to your real mailbox, The 6th , 7th and other messages
will be lost in cyberspace! Funny, huh?

It could be ultimate solution to spam problem if SpamGourmet evolved long
ago. Sadly, I did not know about it 4 years ago and my real address is on
many spammers' list now. But it is never late to stop exposing your real
email address! Start today.

Downsides.
Indeed, a spammer can send you a message if he knows 1)the way disposable
addresses are created at SpamGourmet.com and 2) your username.
So if a spammer sends mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
the message will reach you!. But, the fact is spammers never bother
composing addresses as long as they can just harvest them
on the web and in newsgroups.
