Possible causes of non-response from emailweb.us

Hi ACCMAIL,

As Eugeny has mentioned emailweb.us does block users who use the service for
very offensive content. However, a user who is blocked in this way will
still receive an error response from emailweb's mail server. The message
reports an error, that the sender is found in the 'badfrommail' list.

The most common cause of a user having a problem receiving responses from
emailweb is a spam filter. Because most spam uses an invalid from: email
address, spam filters have stopped trying to bounce spam. Many of them will
now accept spam without error, but never deliver it.

Sometimes non-delivery is a result of rejection by the sender's mail server.
This occasionally occurs because the response message is above the sender's
mail server allowed size. Usually the max size is set at 10 meg, so this is
not a common occurrance. Recently, one user was having many of their
responses rejected by their mailserver because the message contained more
than 20 attachments. I have only seen one mail server do this.

If anyone who has been using emailweb is no longer receiving responses, they
should send a request to emailweb with a cc: gary()emailweb.us . I will
check whether the request processed, including whether a mailserver delivery
error occurred. If an error occurred, the meaning is usually clear. If no
error occurred, but the response was never received, then a spam filter is
the most likely cause.

If you find that your ISP has placed a spam filter that is rejecting
emailweb.us or other responses that you wish, then you need to request of
the ISP that emailweb.us or the other domain names are added to their
"whitelist".
