You probably had to deal with links like these:

http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/poptray/PopTray310.exe?download

so generic way, it is
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/[PROJECTNAME]/[FILENAME]?download

I would like to share a way to compose a direct download link from this.

It is like  this
http://[MIRRORNAME].dl.sourceforge.net/[PROJECTNAME]/[FILENAME]
for example
http://citkit.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/guliverkli/mpc2kxp6483_rus.zip

For the [MIRRORNAME] you can use one of the following:
    optusnet
    heanet
    belnet
    umn
    puzzle
    mesh
    jaist
    ovh
    internap
    unc
    kent
    voxel
    citkit

But bear in mind that not all mirrors may contain the file you need.
In this case just try another mirror.
