Hello accmailers ...

Here is a note on searching for Usenet groups by keyword.
The best resource I have found recently is http://www.newzbot.com/
Newzbot describes itself as "public USENET resources for the masses"
and has a search form which is compatible with ACCMAIL methods.

The syntax is:
        http://www.newzbot.com/search.php?q=WORD
where WORD is your search term.

Example: to find Usenet groups with 'email' in the title:
    http://www.newzbot.com/search.php?q=email

Some alternatives which return a generally less satisfactory result:
 http://tile.net/search.php?table=news&search_text=WORD
 http://www.newsreaders.com/link/find_ngs.cgi?sub_string=WORD
 http://www.newsparrot.co.uk/search.php?find=WORD
 http://search.mailgate.org/jump?query=WORD

 http://groups.google.com/groups?num=100&as_ugroup=*WORD*
 http://groups.google.com/groups?num=100&as_drrb=q&as_qdr=w&as_ugroup=*WORD*
