Hello accmailers ... A USB flash drive (also known in english as 'pen drive' or 'memory stick') is a great resource for people who have an email account and have occasional access to a computer with a USB port. The portable version of the email client Thunderbird works very well on a flash drive. Thunderbird has an extension which provides POP and SMTP access to Yahoo and Hotmail accounts (also other free webmail providers). For users of www4mail (and other gateways which send web pages as email attachments), Portable Opera seems to be the best browser to run on a flash drive. Has anyone else experimented with flash drives for email-only users?
