Russian host refusing mail from www4mail

Hello accmailers ...

Subscribers in Russia might have some explanation for this. Mail from
www4mail at szs.net to host erec.ru is rejected at the SMTP stage:
"Domain erec.ru does not accept mail from www4mail ..."

Of course, there is nothing I can do about that.

I noticed something similar last year. Host mail.ru was rejecting all
mail from our AOL listserv. I guess that is why we lost all our
subscribers using mail.ru.

Right now our subscribers use 16 hosts under domain .ru, but only
erec.ru has been put to the test. Would all the others like to try?

The only other problem I have noticed is the one most expected: failure
to add the word accmail at the end of the Subject header. There are two
reasons for this requirement ...
1. Spam detection (it's unlikely that automated spam email will add
   'accmail' to the subject.
2. Identifying which access control list should be checked (this is the
   main reason -- we also have two other private lists, both very
   small).
