   Thanks for messages, here are some more details:

 1. Being 'old fashioned' (66) am a ken MS-DOS user, so
    the E-mail goes from TCP/IP via a gateway (TNOS)
    which acts also as a BBS, then to AX25 1k2 radiolink
    and thru a TNC (terminal node controler) into my PC...
    Because of the slow link truncks are limited to 50000.
    No...Windowze at all ! and a real 'offline' setup  !.
 2. UU decoding is done manualy with the MS-DOS UU decoder
    but first I do check visualy the coded files, the
    lines start always with an 'M' and do have the same
    number of characters in each line.
 3. The used adress was:

     Being disapointed with my first attempt haven't made
     another try.
