Hello accmailers ... Yes! We have two answers for you. ======================================================================== The first answer: send request help getpart to www4mail`at`szs.net Command getpart allows you to request specific file parts in the numbered sequence. It is really intended to replace parts which did not get delivered. You can also use it to obtain one or more parts successively. In your case, you should first empty your mailbox. Then request the first 3 parts, like this ... GETPART 1-3 followed by the URL of the binary file. When you have downloaded the first 3 parts, request the next 3 ... GETPART 4-6 This is, of course, *very* inefficient! ======================================================================== The second answer: use a different inbox -- at Gmail. Do you know somebody who has occasional access to the WWW? Ask that person to set up a GMail account for you at http://mail.google.com/mail/signup To minimise spam, your username should be obscure, like a password. Ask your friend to edit the Gmail settings like this ... In tab 'Forwarding and POP', under heading 'POP Download' * Check 'Enable POP only for mail that arrives from now on' * Set 'When messages are accessed with POP' to 'archive' or 'delete' Click on the 'Save Changes' button. Now you have a mailbox with 2 Gb storage. Gmail provides you with SMTP as well as POP. You will need the extra information at these URLs * Configuring mail clients http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=13287 * Configuring Thunderbird Mail http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=38343 You might also consider Pegasus Mail as your email client. It has the advantage of selective download from your mailbox. That means you can see what is in your mailbox before download, and then choose which items to download, which to leave on the server, and which to delete. This GMail method works very well (but if you are using an Internet connection that is paid for by your employer or college, please make sure you are not breaking any rules or terms of employment). We access our Gmail from a flash drive which has both Pegasus Mail and Portable Thunderbird on it. This is a good ACCMAIL technique if you can be sure that a) the computers you will use have a USB port b) you will not lose your flash drive. If you do not have that post, you can get it by sending an email to listserv`at`listserv.aol.com with GETPOST ACCMAIL 1532 in the body of the message.
