[Adastra] Robins together?

Like other keen bird-watchers I've made sure our garden visitors have been well fed this Winter. And it must be due to our inclement weather but after throwing seed over the lawn today I witnessed four Robins all perched on the same small tree within 2 meters of each other; I watched for a while and they did have the odd dig at each other but mostly they seemed intent on their free meal. Seeing that Robins are so territorial is this unusual behavior?
