For those that missed the egg heads....SWT won! The SWT team beat the eggheads
and won £37K!! You can probably still get it on BBC iplayer for those that
missed it.

Well done Sussex Wildlife Trust!

Subject: [Adastra] First butterfly and frog spawn of the year

First butterfly in our garden this year (Portslade Old Village), a red admiral
butterfly, on 24th February. The butterfly was in good condition and appeared
to be feeding on the purple colored crocuses. The crocuses, which were in a
patch of sunlight on the rockery, had opened for the first time.

First clump of frog spawn 26th February in our garden pond. Following a night
of heavy rain there were 5 new clumps of frog spawn and about a dozen frogs on
the 28th February.

Unfortunately I was at the LNR meeting last night and missed Eggheads, how did
the Wise Owls do?
