Biological Records Officer £18,000 to £20,000 pa (dependant on skills and experience) Surrey Wildlife Trust is looking for an individual to play a critical role in the ongoing development of Surrey Biodiversity Information Centre (SBIC). The successful candidate will be responsible for helping to deliver the day to day activities of SBIC as well as playing an important role in the next phase of development as the focus for habitat and species recording in the County. A relevant environmental qualification is essential in addition to a professional background in nature conservation, knowledge and experience of the work of a Biological Records Centre and the use of Geographical Information Systems. You should also be able to demonstrate an ability to work systematically and with thorough attention to detail. Experience of the Recorder Species Database and MapInfo GIS would be an advantage.
