[Aide] aide.db checksum issue

Hello All.

I have been using aide over the years without issues, but on a very recent install of a SUSE 11.1 system, when I run aide -C  to check system against the database file /var/lib/aide/aide.db  I get the response:
Database 1 does not have checksum!
Aborted
I know this is likely due to the fact that the FORCEDBMD macro is used for to force the signing of the aide.db database.

My question is: How do I sign  the aide.db file  so as  aide -C  will accept  this database file?.
