Newbie question ... I am able to record from my VXPocket V2 using "arecord" :) However, I would like to monitor the input level (and perhaps adjust the input gain) while recording. Are there any tools available for this purpose (the simpler -> the better) ?
I'm not familiar with "Jack" - is that what I need ?
