No it doesn't. The patch Gabriele posted works for the Fast Track Ultra, 
the patch that I posted works for the Fast Track Ultra 8R. Both patches 
are the same though, except for the USB product id.

But what's your problem with the Fast Track Pro? It should work out of 
the box:
