>In theory... how many users use a single cell phone? Even if I let >someone else use my phone, I don't have a way to let my phone know >that it should currently be in "different-user-mode".
Ahhh, theory and practice..... In theory, in a lot of emerging economies there are "phone companies" made up of a single person who has a cellular phone, receives a call, then carries it to the house of the call recipient. The call recipient then pays the "phone company" for the service. If a person wants to make a call, they go to the home of the "phone company", and pay a small amount of money to make the call. In the world of micro-loans and micro-business this model is well known. In theory, there is also the concept of having "loaner phones" with multiple SIMS. You buy the SIM and put it in, renting the phone itself. In theory it would be nice to have the phone recognize that the person (or SIM) that installed the application is not the one that is trying to remove or replace it. In practice whether there is enough market demand for something like this might determine whether or not someone actually puts that security into the code and distributes it.
