If you have a beep.wav file, make a dir in res called raw, put it there. Up near the top of the activity you have public Mediaplayer beep; then in oncreate you have beep=Mediaplayer.create(getBaseContext(),R.raw.beep); and farther down in an ontouch or onsensorchanged or some other event, you say beep.start(); That works for me, but I might be leaving out something important...
