The cooler weather turned out to be a blessing for us! We had snowball blooms and only one day of bee flight due to the cold temps. That one day was in the 80's.....everything opened up.....the bees did what they could....and we ended up with rather poor pollination based on the number of blooms. But....as it turns out, we won't need to thin much, if any at all, since only about 60% of the blooms set fruit! Actually looks like a nice crop.....Lord willing and the hail don't come!!
