We have our BSCAN trained to favor the Odyssey IP if listed, the Ariel IP if we don't have an Odyssey address on file, and email if neither is listed. We also have it trained to use Ariel when Rapid pullslips are scanned. It is well worth having the programming done since my staff rarely need to enter data during the image capture process. We are similar to Harvard. We use BSCAN to send both Ariel and Odyssey. Our pull slips are currently programmed to scan Ariel, so we are inputting Odyssey addresses manually. As more libraries are using Odyssey, we will probably reprogram our slips soon. Since more than 85% of our articles are now sent via Odyssey, we had our pullslips retrained for Odyssey delivery as the default last year and have encountered no problems to date.
