This was reported a few months ago and no fix was reported at the time. We recently experienced the same problem and managed to get it back. Ariel has a limit of 500 addresses. There were 525 entries in our address book so this is what we did:
1. Copied the ALIASES.TXT file from the Ariel folder and opened it in Excel (because Excel was easier to read than Notepad). 2. Deleted about 40 rows, and then made sure to save the file as .txt. 3. Copied this new ALIASES.TXT file back into the Ariel folder. When we re-opened Ariel, the Address Book was working again.
