As it comes for STL, the most definitive book I've seen is
"The C++ Standard Library: a tutorial and handbook" by
Nicolai M. Josuttis, published by AWL (ISBN 0201379260).
Also, the third edition of Bjarne Stroustrup's "The C++
Programming Language" is a brilliant book too.
