Apache 1.x mod perl 1.x cgi.pm post data still lost

Hi -

I saw some previous threads.. Tried different things but no luck.
 
Everything was working fine with older versions of Apache::ASP and perl
5.003, cgi 2.41, etc  

I upgraded a server from perl 5.004 to 5.8.5

Updated the modules to the latest version. Tried installing older CGI
versions, including downgrading to CGI 2.41 which is from 1998.

CGI Post Data continues to be Lost/gone. 

Using 

Apache::Asp 2.57
Mod_perl 1.29
Apache 1.29
Perl 5.8.5

Any Ideas?
