Dear editor/friends, Namaskar. Hope this mail finds you in fine spirit and health. May I ask for a favour from you? We come to know that an organization named ‘Indian Press Association’, whose head office is stated to be at M & T Compound, Prakash Wadi, near Cine Magic, Andheri (East), Mumbai, starts activities in Guwahati in the last few days. One of its representatives in Assam has already distributed letters to various government officers as well as business houses. Though the letter has no mention about funds, the representative personally discussed about donating money to the association. I personally know at least one officer, who denied any contribution (fund) to the association. I have included two pages of the letter for your information. Meanwhile, I talked to many Mumbai based journalists regarding Indian Press Association and its National President Pawan Kumar Dubey. Amazingly nobody knows the organization and the person. I talked to Dubey (m-9320554333), but he did not respond properly. Rather he asserted that I must prove my credential as a journalist and then only he would talk to me! The other mobile number (932478528285) in the letter head was responded by Dubey’s wife. The PNT number (Tele Fax: 022-26835574) is not working. The letter head has the name of Manmohan Gupta as National Vice President. There is no mention about its Secretary. It does not have any e-mail address or website as well. The letter (distributed in Assam) has been signed Satya Prakash Tiwari (National Association Controller of Indian Press Association). Are you aware of this organization? Do you know this gentleman (Pawan Kumar Dubey)? Will you kindly let me know any information, you can have about them?
