(a) candrabindu sits on top of how many vowels to form words?

probable answer - 3 vowels 
"i" (3rd vowel) "u" (5th vowel) "o" (10th -- without long-ri in sequence 
otherwise 11th -- vowel).

looking for any correction needed to my answer, and answers to other two 
questions.
