Dear Esteemed Members of AssamOnline,

It gives me immense pleasure to announce the launch of the first Business
Magazine of the North East "The Brahmaputra, Rhythm of the Promises". The
magazine is intended to be circulated across the business Diaspora of the
region as well as among the management students of various B Schools in the
North East. In case any member of this esteemed community wants a personal
complimentary copy, be free to email us your postal address along with contact
number and professional details. We will try our best to deliver it to your
door step. The magazine is free to the market as of now, and we will try our
best to keep it that way.

To check the online version CLICK http://bit.ly/brahm.

Rationale behind the magazine: "Just as the mighty river Brahmaputra, North
East of India is filled with latent promises - untapped and underused. But
there is a hope shimmering under surface of these promises, and like the subtle
music of the river waves, this hope makes a beautiful rhythm audible to anyone
who simply long to hear it. In spite of all the challenges and negativity
prevailing round the business environment of this region, we only need to look
around to see the success stories of people and organizations that have done
extremely well - for themselves and for the region! `The Brahmaputra' is an
ambitious initiative to bring together notes from these business leaders, as a
fresh breeze of hope, faith and knowledge. The magazine would cater to all
domains of business and industry - be it regional, national and international;
and will cover aspects starting from marketing to finance to technology to
social concern. The magazine would
contain industry insights from successful business leaders of the region along
with gripping research papers from academic captains of the country and
abroad." (Fr VM Thomas, sdb, "The Brahmaputra, Rhythm of the Promises" Issue 1)

Hope all of you will take keen interest in this project, and contribute
generously with your suggestions, feedback and queries.

Warm Regards,

Saumar Deka,
