Actually, UNICODE consortium is using the name "Bengali-script" - it has been 
so over a decade.

I have used UNICODE nomenclature in order to show improvement ideas for 
Assamese and Hindi languages.

My ideas if implemented will help both languages to present in a manner 
appropriate by incorporating frequently used symbols.

I welcome contributors to discuss the matter, i.e., basis for nomenclature, and 
ask UNICODE consortium for right nomenclature.
