Aborthing Phoenix - changed behaviour under JDK1.4 CR1

Morning all:

Have just upgraded from JDK1.4b3 to JDK1.4 RC1 and somethings changed
in the way Phoenix is handling a JVM interupt - before, I could hit a 
Control-C and kill the process with a nice clean shutdown of the 
application. The situation under RC1 is that nothing is being shutdown 
(ports remain blocked, etc.).  Is anyone else experiencing the same 
problem ?
