Yes. For me, it's a baroque lute problem. Never experienced it with the
renaissance lute. But with the baroque lute I did, every now and then,
after periods of intensive practising. Like all muscels of the left arm
cramp, even up to the neck. When that happens, I stop practising for a
day or two, and afterwards resume very slowly. IMO it's a matter of
superfluous tension with the neck muscles.
