Dear Lutelist, After Mathias was so kind as to take the time to make a video and demonstrate for me how to play the Allemande by Dubut that I had posted earlier, I tried to record it again with a different interpretation of the rhythm. Unfortunately, I recorded late last night, and somehow when I thought I was saving it, I managed to lose it, so I had to record it all over again. I was up very late and the second recording was, I think, not as good as the first. Anyway, I wanted to share my attempt again and, as always, appreciate critical feedback. My thanks also to Rob and Mathias for explaining about the rhythm of 1/8 note pairs in French baroque music. I am ever so gradually learning. Be patient.
