[base] Average of reporters

As part of exporting a bioassay sets file with BASEFileExporter we normally 
select average of reporters.
We are currently trying to export a dataset that is bigger than previous 
datasets. We are working with a dataset of 200 32k slides.
If we select average of reporters, we only get a short file just containing the 
sample information. If we do not select average of reporters,
it downloads fully.

We are using:
Version: BASE 2.12.1 (build #4972; schema #72)

Is there a way of just doing the average of reporters as a step on it' own?
If not any other suggestions of how to overcome this?
