Speaking of how Jane S was dealt with, I would like to remind you how she
and a few others attacked Joel A Wendt a few years ago. He was really an
interesting speaker, but of course he was too philosophical for this
hands-on list....
And how Greg Willis was dismissed lately. By and by interesting people are
spliced off. By this process, I expect in the end only the very kernel, the
pure essence, to remain. Void?
Rather let me suggest some more tolerance. Argue against ideas if you will,
but avoid attacking them. Try to see the merits in what's put forth and not
only the errors. And most of all avoid attacking persons.

PS Also I do think it would help this list to have password-protected
archives. Seems like some persons don't speak as clearly and elaborated, as
they did a few years ago. I expect one of the reasons to be that these
discussions are too public when they can be reached via Google etc.
If this is not accepted, I suggest we have two lists, one public soldiers'
list for people who want to fight and one less public philosophers' and
(hopefully) practioners' list for people who want to discuss.

When I first joined this list about 5 years ago it was inspirational, mainly
due to the calibre of people involved - eg. Hugh L. Ferdy, etc.. now it is
all a bit flat, inhouse bitching, commercial plugging gloop. I know, I know,
I am just as guilty as the next person, but I just dont feel inspired to
contribute anymore, (except to criticise, of course,) the way people like
Jane Sherry and others were dealt with really sucks.
I dont know what the answer is, I just thought I'd let u know how I am
feeling.
