I only have fabric seats but I do have friends with Newfs with leather in their suburban of course the dogs tend to ride in their crates so no issue of slipping on the seats <G> the leather does clean up nicely and the Hubacek's have leather couch which all their big guys lie on and I have never seen them cause scratches or tears Dana loves the way the leather wipes off easily from the droolies <G>
