SUVs, Leather etc

For seats, if you can, I would recommend leather in a heartbeat - especially if you have to occasionally transport humans too. It cleans up so quickly and easily; fur never sticks to it and mud, drool etc wipe off easily. I had fabric in my two previous trucks and wouldn't go back to that - there was always a ton of fur on them (of course) and mud etc was much harder to get out.

I like the looks of the Highlander (being a Toyota type of person) especially the large cargo area, but because it is only available with two or three option packages it priced out higher than the 4Runner. This was about a year and a half ago now, it may be different now, or different in the US.

I'm on my third 4Runner right now, and I really like them. The only drawback that I would mention is that the rear latch tends to get stuck after a while and need professional intervention. (It is a manual latch though.) This has happened on all three of my vehicles. Oh, and they don't have butt warmers ;)

Now we have been thinking about getting the
Honda Element, or the Toyota Highlander. I was
wondering if anyone had experiences with either of
these cars.
