Mike, A year ago we bought an SUV. The deal was, that we could get an SUV only if we got a ramp for the dogs. My husband found a great ramp at Dogramp.com We are in no way affliated with the company, but I am so pleased with the ramp, I will buy another if this one wears out. I tried the ramp in all the catalogues that costs about $160, but didn't like it at all. This one cost about $90 and is much more sturdy. It holds up to 200 pounds and telescopes so it fits in the back of our SUV. I keep it in the car all the time. Whe it is not being used for loading and unloading of dogs, it comes in pretty handy for transporting groceries home without spilling all over the back of the car.
