When getting any product that makes medical claims, especially something new, be sure to ask for solid evidence the product is actually safe and effective, such as copies of the studies done. And "well, my cousin Mary said it worked great for Fluffy" isnt real evidence. Anyone can make any claim -- get proof!
If the FDA isnt approving a product, the manufacturers can put anything (or nothing) in the product and no one checks on them. Remember, too, that the words "natural" and "safe" have absolutely nothing to do w/ each other -- arsenic, cocaine, and tobacco are all "natural" .... but hardly good for ya! Vilma Briggs, MD Mt.
