Email yang memberi semangat! -- budi ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Bermi Ferrer Date: Wed, Apr 1, 2009 at 11:20 PM Subject: BHTV, Starting an Open Source development company in Bandung To: rah...@gmail.com Hi Budi, My name is Bermi Ferrer and I'm a software developer from Spain who actively contributes to various Open Source projects like Akelos, Ruby on Rails, Editam, WYMeditor, Lightbox among others. I'm contacting you after seeing you're an active member of the IT industry who has been working on the BHTV initiative. For the last year my software consultancy firm in Barcelona Spain has been working with software developers from Bandung with great success. I recently discovered that the middle-man company I was paying is not a legal entity in Indonesia and that my developers just get paid a 10% of my total investment. For this reason I'm looking to start a software development center in Bandung where developers have better working conditions and salary. Indonesian corporation laws are a little complex for a foreigner so it would be great if you could recommend me a consultancy/law firm that for setting up a company in Bandung. I'd also like to find office space with good internet connection for a team of 5 developers. Any recommendation on this (realtors, serviced offices…)? Is there any other way the BHTV initiative could help me? I will visit Bandung and stay for several months to set up the company, hire the staff and train them once I have a better understanding of how things work there. If you can't help me on this issue, I fully understand it, and would really appreciate if you could point me to the right people to talk. I appreciate in advance your help.
