During this time, the north walkway will be open. On Saturday, June 22, the south walkway will reopen and the north walkway will close. Because the 5th Street pedestrian underpass remains closed for construction, in order to access the north walkway from the south side of the bridge, pedestrians and bicyclists will follow a signed pedestrian detour route from 3rd Street North to Elm Street East to 5th Street.
