I have added the new Lindenwold to Gibbsboro bike route in the recreational path photo gallery. Its a combination of bike lanes, bike paths and bike panes (something between the two). The route travels about 4 miles from Lindenwold PATCO to Gibbsboro Village with small unmarked gap at Lindenwold Park. (A classic example of two projects not tying in). Despite (or maybe because of) the dubious engineering, the route is an interesting diversion and a quick getaway from Center City. Lindenwold park is a large suburban park with restrooms and water. The Gibbsboro section goes through a wild uninhabited area, despite being less than 100 feet from United States Ave. An added bonus is that the trail easement creates a buffer that along with Lindenwold Park creates a nice swath of protected open space. The village itself is a pleasant hamlet with a couple of restaurants. http://www.bicyclecoalition.org/trails.html John Boyle http://www.bikemap.comThe Bikes on Transit database Get more from the Web.
