(Last message sent incorrectly.) Hi folks- the Advocacay Committee of the Greater Philadelphia Bicycle Coalition is planning a general meeting for Sept 19th in the evening. I am working on getting a center city meeting location and will post it as soon as I know. This mtg will give an overview for those interested in the issues, but its primary purpose is to lay the foundation for a working committee. So if you attend, it is hoped that you will participate. We will outline what is going on an decide what important issues we want to invest our time and energies in. A draft outline of the topics covered is below: 1. Overview - projects in planning, construction, etc. Some aniticipated obsticles. 2. bike lane issues being debated - facts/figures 3. bike parking projects - city / region 4. Trail projects5. Report from Thunderhead/ ProBike/ProWalk 2002 6. Report from PA Pedcycle Committee (PPAC) 7. Call to action - what are priorities- assignments- protocal when a response is needed.
