Learn to facilitate conversations with diverse groups!



Be part of an effort to engage the whole University and the community in the
development of 40th Street in a way that connects with the academic mission
of the University and reflects the economic, social, racial and education
diversity of the neighborhood.



How can you participate?



¨     Expert presentation on the state of 40th Street:

-  Tuesday Feb 17,  7:00pm at the Rotunda (Walnut Street near 40th, next to
The Bridge Cinema)



¨     Community discussions facilitated by students to generate the vision
and principles of 40th Street development:

-  Tuesday Feb 24th,  7:00pm

-  Wednesday Feb 25th,  7:00pm

-  Follow-up session: March 18 (TBA)

Ø     Training to be a facilitator will be in one (1) two hour workshop.
Nationally recognized community deliberation and facilitation experts will
provide the workshop!

-  Feb 19 or Feb 23 - to be worked out with the volunteers
