                       [1]Free Schuylkill River Park

Free the River Park Rally Monday February 16^th 12-1pm. At the
Locust St. access point to Schuylkill River Park.

     Dear Jeff Abrahamson:

The response to our last call to action has been terrific. In less
than 3 days, more than 150 residents wrote to Governor Rendell
urging him to personally intervene in getting CSX to drop their
opposition to safe grade crossings at Race & Locust St. We
haven't yet heard directly from the Governor but we know our
     messages are getting through.

Over the last couple of months our campaign has gathered the
support of 24 neighborhood, recreation & civic organizations.
Hundreds of letters have been sent to CSX and elected officials at
all levels of government have agreed to support our cause. CSX is
hearing from us, now they need to see us!

Please join your neighbors for our first Free the River Park Rally
Monday February 16^th 12-1pm. At the Locust St. access point to
     Schuylkill River Park.

Bring a friend, your bike, dog, kids and the kids we are inviting
the media and our elected officials so it's important to have a
good crowd. See our web site to download a flyer and for more
     details. Please spread the word.
