Mountain Bike Innovator and now Pioneer of the Transportation Bike movement, Joe Breeze comes to Philadelphia on Sunday, March 7th. WHERE: TROPHY BIKES, 3131 Walnut Street in the Left Bank building--right across from the Penn Ice Rink. WHEN: SUN., MARCH 7th, 5 p.m. -- Presentation: Beyond Sprawl--the Transportation Revolution, followed by reception and refreshments. ADMISSION FREE. Joe Breeze, along with Gary Fisher , was among those first Californians to marry wide-range gearing and fat tires, creating the mountain bike as we know it. Today, Breezer is working to put more Americans on two wheels with a line of Town and Range bikes that handle like mountain bikes, ride like comfort bikes, and carry cargo like SUVs (minus the pollution). His new Breezer bikes recently earned him a feature story in Bicycling Magazine, as well as articles in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal and many other media outlets. Breeze will be speaking at Trophy Bikes, 3131 Walnut Street, just on the West side of the Walnut Street Bridge. He'll look at the past--and make some bold predictions about the future of bicycling. For more info, visit www. trophybikes.com or email mcget@ aol.com thanks for reading and DO COME ON OUT for an up close and personal evening with JOE BREEZE, a man who's ready to make cycling history--again!
