Sent: Tuesday, March 16, 2004 11:59 AM Subject: Lancaster Farmland Trust's Pedal to Preserve '04 Pedal to Preserve '04 Saturday, June 19, 2004 - New Holland, PA Lancaster Farmland Trust's 7th annual Pedal to Preserve bicycle fundraiser offers riders an excellent opportunity to tour Lancaster County at a leisurely pace while visiting preserved farms. Cyclists can choose from three routes through beautiful Lancaster County farmland surrounding New Holland: a 6-mile Family Ride (starts at 9:30 a.m.); a 20-mile ride (starts at 9 a.m.); or a 51-mile ride (starts at 8 a.m.). All rides start and finish at Garden Spot H.S. Registration is $20 in advance or $30 on the day of the event (children under 12 ride free with an adult). Pre-registrants receive a free T-shirt. Collect pledges and win special prizes*! Food and beverages will be provided, including snacks before the ride, during the ride at designated water stops, and after the ride. Proceeds benefit Lancaster Farmland Trust, a private, non-profit organization working to preserve the rich and productive farmland of Lancaster County. *Pledge collection encouraged but not required.
