I am guessing that this would be
built in the new almost totally unused park with its Shared Use Path on the
south side of Admiral Wilson Boulevard. At some point I would like to
arrange a clean up of this park (and the scary pedestrian bridge) sponsored by
the BCGP and Camden Greenways. John Boyle Grant is announced for South Jersey welcome
center Two state assemblymen announced yesterday that $500,000 in state
funds would go toward the construction of a proposed welcome center on Admiral
Wilson Boulevard in Pennsauken. South Jersey Tourism Corp., launched last year to package
and market tourism attractions in Burlington, Camden, Gloucester and Salem
Counties, has been lobbying the state to build the center. It would be a
3,000-square-foot building that would provide regional tourism information,
visitor and driver services, and access to Cooper River and its bicycle and
walking paths. The grant was announced by Assemblymen Jack Conners and Herb Conaway, Democrats whose joint district
covers Pennsauken. |
