Last week I made a trip to Canada, leaving my two almost three month old
darlings (spoiled lambs) in the care of my husband. Four days after I left I
asked on the phone (again) how they were doing. He said they wouldn't follow
him even when he had the bottles in his hands. Then he said "That stuff sure
doesn't mix very well, does it?" Then he said "The stuff in the red
can"...."WHAT????" He had been feeding them flour and water for four days.
Ugh. Once he got the bucket clearly marked "Lamb Replacer Milk" (which I had
showed him before I left) they began to follow him. By the way, they drank the
"Glue"
Can anyone tell me how and when to wean them. They make a heck of a racket for
their bottles three times a day and I see no sign of them giving them up.
Aloha a hui hou kaua!
