[Blackbelly] BB Minerals Lacking?

Does anyone know what mineral (or?) might be lacking in diet that causes the
ABB sheep to eat the bark off oak trees? This is the first season they have
done this. At first we thought they were just going after the thick tree
moss that grows this time of year, then we see the outer bark gone done to the
base. I've heard horses chew wood if they lack certain minerals in their
diet. Could this be the cause for sheep, too?

Thanks for any/all input available,
