I was kind of surprised, my sheep have been eating saplings and bark since day 1, and at that time I was doing Protein blocks & free-range minerals at the same time. I just figured it was what they do. I did notice that they did it more as the grass and shrubs were all consumed. Did you mow down your grass this year or do something else different? Or has your herd size overstepped the carrying capacity? I'm be really interested if someone has a nutrition answer. --David On Fri, Apr 11, 2008 at 4:13 PM, <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Send Blackbelly mailing list submissions to > blackbelly@lists.blackbellysheep.info > > To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit > > http://lists.blackbellysheep.info/listinfo.cgi/blackbelly-blackbellysheep.info > > or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > You can reach the person managing the list at > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific > than "Re: Contents of Blackbelly digest..." > > > Today's Topics: > > 1.
