Hello John, My rams and ewes/babies are only separated by permanent field fence. As long as there are multiple rams so they can play out their excess energy...it seems to work very well. We have 2" white elec tape placed about 8 inches above the ground around the outside parimeter...but not separating the two flocks. Don't seem to need it. What kind of fences did they destroy??
