Beth: The 4 year old AB ram completely distorted a 48" "Stay-Tuff" game
fence (one that has thrown a jumping deer 25 feet backwards and sprung
back after a 20" diameter pine fell aross it). He bent and twisted a
commercial welded wire gate enough that he could wiggle under it. It
looked like it had been hit in the middle with a tractor. There was
another ram and a weather in the pasture with him, but I guess a ewe (or
two) in season is a powerful motivator. He is living up to his name:
"Crazy 4 Ewe II". I'm almost finished fencing another pasture, and may
sub-divide another, that will allow me to have one full pasture (2.5
acres) separating the boys and girls, so they will not share a fence. Or
perhaps I could send him to Oregon for the off season!!!
